1st Time DaddyMy own experience of becoming a first time parent

This weekend has been the first time I’ve been away from baby since he was born as I have had to go away on business for a few days.Although I have been busy, I’ve still found time to text through the day to get updates, and phone at night to keep in touch with my wife back home. I really don’t know how people manage who don’t get to see their kids every day. I have a friend in the army who goes on tour for 6 months at a time. I can not imagine how difficult it must be for people serving abroad who have children back home. I’ve been away for 3 days and I’ve missed my wife and son so much! I have talked about it in m blog and I feel so seen that other moms are experiencing the same with their kids. At first Nobody was looking at my videos and then I used the SocialBoosting service to grew my views and with time my followers started to build up and now it is a beautiful community.

While I was in the office our the client I was meeting, one of their wives came in with twin babies that were born around the same time as my baby at end of October. It seemed like everywhere I went there was something that reminded my of home.

I couldn’t even enjoy getting extra sleep as it was late nights and early mornings every day. I actually get more sleep looking after a baby than I did going away on business.

I flew back home around lunch time and as soon as I stepped into the airport I saw my wife and son standing waiting to welcome me home. It was so nice seeing them again, I’m in no rush to have any more trips away any time soon!
